Mountain dew
By luckypennies

I love the darkness at the top of this photo and how it makes the tips of the blue spruce needles stand out. I don’t know if you can see it in the small version, but in each dewdrop is a tiny reflected version of the branch behind this one.

I just have to say what an amazing eye and artist you are!! Like, I’ve seen one of paintings in a photo, and of course I’ve seen your own photos you’ve taken (ahhh, good memories of the dark room days…) but this work you’ve posted on your blog is amazing. Your painting is wonderful. Just so pretty and colorful. How is it possible that you can make something so amazing out of a brush and some paint? It blows my mind. And the photos you have posted are great. Especially the branch, that is by far my favorite. Though the cute little toad comes in at a close second

I love this shot…the composition is wonderful, the way you captured the needles, the drops, the reflections in the drops, the dark at the top and lighter color at the bottom.
Beautiful!
